Jungle Safari is an adventure that takes any adventurer who like to explore the unexplored trails and unspoilt natural horizons of forests. It can also be defined as a forest trail, except that instead of walking, hiking or trekking, you have also got the options of explore the forest regions via a jeep or a elephant.

The Royal Chitwan National Park is third most visited area in Nepal after trekking and Kathmandu valley. The beautiful natural reserve with area of 932 sq km is located 175 km south-west of Kathmandu near to the Indian border in the Terai or jungle area of Nepal . The Park was formed in 1973 as an animal sanctuary for the rapidly declining species of rhino and tiger, and today offers one of the finest wildlife experiences in Asia with Jungle Safari in Nepal. The Park now contains an estimated 400 Indian one-horned rhinoceros, 80 Royal Bengal tigers, plus another 50 species of mammals and 400 different types of bird. The elephant back jungle safari through the park to see the animals is a special attraction. A canoe ride on the Rapti river with crocodiles passing by is unmistakably the greatest jungle experience.
